New Exhaust..which one?

Featured Replies

Ive got a blue flame cat back and imo the noise is spot on, inside there is a deep but not annoying growl when giving it some, outside it sounds very cool too, certainly not chavy.

Looks very cool too

Hey mate, I've always liked Jetex as they dont sound too mental. How much can you get them for.

I have the 2.0 but I already checked and they have the same exhaust as the VRS....just with discreet tails (I'll add a VRS rear bumper)

jetex now make a system! I have the Prototype on my VRS!

Its normally £280 - but I can get a decent discount on them!

Think I can get the first 5 for about £250 delivered

OK newbie questions - having never done any modifications to my VRS...

I like the look of the blueflame oval one, I agree this works well on the back of the VRS.

I take it I just need to find a local blueflame stockist and they order and fit it?

How much of the exhaust is replaced - meaning, I have read about removing the cat - not sure what that means, but this is supposed to improve performance very slightly, or sound better?

Can anyone give (or link to) a dummies guide to exhausts, what the bits are called and what terms are used? I assume some changes are just cosmetic (replacing the part you can see at the back), some are cosmetic and sound better, some are for performance? :o

Oooh tempting, do you need to buy 5? as in....i need to find 4 more willing people?

Think I can get the first 5 for about £250 delivered

I had the Milltek cat back non-res fitted to my Ibiza PD130 (Mapped a year before the exhuast) and on the same rollers as first one it made a 1 bhp and 2 lb/ft increase but made the torque and power smoother - sounded the nuts too :)
