Help!! I've lost my BONG.............

Featured Replies

That's right folks, it's dissappeared :(

Normally an audiable bong if I remove the keys and open the door with the lights on, but today mysteriously nowt

Luckily a work colleague noticed I'd left my lights on only an hour or two after getting to work, so no flat battery.

Any thoughts as to what has happened to my Bong? :D

TIA

Door shut sensor, mine becomes temperamental around this time of the year, then goes away so I never bothered replacing it or looking into it. someone mentioned opening up the door and I decided against it.

S contact on the ignition switch, if the radio does not shut down and the interior light does not come on when the key is removed.

If the interior light works when opening the door, it is unlikely to be the door catch micro switch.

Otherwise it could be a faulty dash panel - not cheap or easy to replace without the immobiliser code.
