Hi all.

I need a track rod.. Not the end, the actual rod for my '53 (2004) Fabia vRS.

Apon phoning APD, they tell me there are 2 different racks fitted to the fabia and one rod wont fit the other.

Cant remember the brands now, but does anyone know what type of rack I will have without me looking. (I have loked, but cant find it stamped anywhere).

Also, one has a plastic push fit sensor and the other has 2 screws, but mine seens to have a push fit, but with 2 screws either side.

Right, your Skoda dealer should know the answer to that one if you give them your VIN - from that they should be able to source your "car data" - if it does not become obvious from the VIN itself.

Another messy way to work this out is to get access to the power steering reservoir level cap - if its TRW it will have that "written" on the top of the cap - also the cap will have vertical "gripping" bits. The other name is Koyo or "something Koyo" - I hope that helps.
