Skoda Assistance

Hi,

Just after a bit of info with regards to Skoda Assistance. I'm doing a driving holiday in a couple of weeks in my Fabia and covering about 2500 miles (Down through France, across to Pamplona then up to La Rochell). My Fabia is 2001 and so I'm reasonably confident it will be ok but things can happen on long drives!

I want to be sure I know where the nearest dealer\garage is should I need it and whilst looking on the Skoda website I read about the Skoda Assist. Can anyone who has a skoda use it? Or is it only up to a certain age? Also, if I can use it, does anyone have any idea on costs involved? I have got European green flag breakdown cover as well but I thought this could be useful?
