Hello,

My vRS is coming up for it's 60K service. To make things cheaper I was going to supply my own oil. I've just registered with Opie Oils and was planning to buy the Castrol Edge TD 5W-40 type oil as it's on offer and seems to be good stuff.

My only concern is the oil that is currently in my car. At a guess I doubt it's exactly the same type as I was planning to put in this coming service. Does that matter?
