hi when i was washing the cars today i noticed on the 52 plate one , that the bar that is in between the two windows in the rear door are bubbling up and rusting on both sides and wondered if it was like this on anyone elses and if it would be covered under the 10 year body warranty:(

Mine is doing this as well. I'm sure it won't be covered under warranty over here. Perhaps the part can be changed? Anyone happen to have a part number handy ?

Mine is bubbling too. When I took mine in for warranty on the tailgate, I asked about the "quarter light bar" on the rear doors, and was told it wasn't covered. Mine is bubbling where window rubber seal rubs over it at the bottom. Pretty sure I have some pictures knocking about somewhere. I can try and find a link to them later if you like.

It being not part of the bodywork is a good enough reason for it not to be covered.

I have got the same thing, only noticed it last few days. Must be able to swap these, but probably not easy.
