Apologies if this has been covered before. Chances are it probably has but I would be grateful to know what I can expect to pay come service time for my Octavia vRS. Its a 2008 57 reg, and covered 9500 miles. Next service is due in February 2010.

I know its a way off but would like a little ammunition before I go into the service centres and start asking them for quotes. Naturally I want to shop around a little first and get the dealers to better one another.

Just how expensive is servicing for these motors?

my first variable service was £107 and i was quoted £166 for my second service including brake fluid change . From what i have seen on here is that service prices can vary from place to place :rotz: . mines is the TFSI vrs

From what people seem to quote I've just paid over-odd's for my second variable.

Approx. 30,000 miles - vRS TFSI

The service included filters, pollen, brake fluid.

I did supply my own oil.

Total cost was £202 all in.

However if I didn't know what others had paid I was more than happy with this price.

I've got another official Skoda stamp in the book and the service (ALS-Lock) was excellent - never been fed so much tea & biscuits in my life

Oil only inspection service appears to be between £110 and £160 with most reports from members.
