Warmer weather, more surging?

Featured Replies

As the title suggests I need something answering. My generic map - I know, I know:P - is fine apart from a bit of surging between 3.5 and 4k. However, when the weather warmed up last week, it seemed to be more pronounced, even in 2nd gear. Now that things have cooled down again, the issue is back to it's mildly annoying level.

Other than the 'I told you so' replies which I tell myself every day, is there a technical reason for this?

I am also saving up for a map from RS tuning in Leeds, but it is taking a while as house rennovations and two small children seem to eat into my funds.:D

Yeah ive noticed it on mine too, when hotter seems to surge more mine is a revo stage 1.

First thing in the morning when it's colder car seems to run alot better and smoother?

At least I'm not imagining it then. I had mine remapped in December, so have yet to encounter really hot weather.
