Speaker/Amp wiring

Featured Replies

Is the standard wiring that runs to the OE speakers up to the job of having a (small) amp powering them instead? IIRC, its a 2 channel, about 80W RMS each...

Planning on changing the front speakers, and would like to power them with an amp, but dont fancy running any extra wiring into the door, as it looks a right pain...

its not really. its designed to take about 5-10wrms max.

Also, you dont wanna go cutting your loom do you?!?

So then, whats the easiest way to run speaker wire into the doors?

run it through the existing cable housing

Been running the standard Fabia VRS speakers at 30wrms for about 12 months now from my Infinity Basslink,

Clarity is much better, no problems.

Dont need to cut the loom, just get a cheapo ISO adaptor off ebay and use that
