Don't know if this helps anyone but £8 a litre for 5w 30

Castrol Edge 5W 30 - 1 Litre from Homebase.co.uk

Just helped me - I was planning to pop out to Halfords today to get this. Have just returned from Homebase across the road from Halfords with 2 of these. I saw that 0W30 was also reduced to the same price.

Thanks for that info. Not much comes cheap at Homebase. It's £17 a litre at Tesco.

Wouldn't have thought of Homebase for engine oil, thanks for the info, Went down & bought a bottle today!!

Had my VRS a few weeks, & the oil level is half way between the min & max, so I wanted a top up bottle, just so I know if it's using oil or not!!

the oil level is odd on vrs , if you fill it to the full mark , it drops really quickly to the middle and sticks a while.:rotz:

Thanks for that, that's interesting, I just thought the dealer hadn't put quite enough in when they serviced it prior to me collecting it.

bought 4 litres yesterday so I'm happy
