Hi everyone. I've a supercar experience day booked at Elvington circuit which is on the 28th June. Going along with the family and my brother is looking to have a go in an Atom. I'm having to make do with a Lambo LP640 and a Ferrari 360 Stradale...

Can anyone recomend a good pub or eating venue that is nearby please.

Sounds like an awesome day!

Think there is on in just down the road in Elvington itself but never been in so couldn't recomend it personally.

It's either that or you venture towards York and there is a 'Sizzler' brand place just on Hull road.

You could also cut across onto the A1079 and go into one of the towns there like Wilberfoss or Pocklington and I'm sure there will be decent pubs to eat in.

Part of former RAF Elvington is now the Yorkshire Air Museum.

There's a canteen on-site & it's worth a look around.

We went there a few weeks ago on the SALT rally

Can't recommend any personally in that area unfortunately, but this may prove useful. You could then have a Google for reviews on any you like the sound of

Had forgotten about the cafe in the Air Museum.

There is a nice looking one on the A1079 between Kexby and Dunnington that I drope past yesterday. the apple tree or something can't remember.

I work in elvington on the same estate where the airfield is,we sometimes pop for dinner to the next village ,sutton on derwent i think it is called and there is a pub there that sells cracking food.Will try and find out its name and its only 5 minutes from the airfield:thumbup:
