Hi all

I'm just about to buy my first Octy, I'm going for (after advice from you guys, thank you!) a 2006 maybe 2007 1.9TDi Elegance.

Does anyone have an Octy sales brochure for 2006 or similar in pdf format that they could post here please?

I was thinking that Ambiente is more available, but people keep saying that the Elegance has more "features" (toys). All I can find on the Skoda site is info on the new 2009 Octys, can't find anything on the earlier versions, which is all I can afford at present:O

Bit of a disappointing day really, went out to buy a car if I could, first dealer 30 miles away (on the phone last night, 1.9TDi Elegance 2006, right money, right colour) Got there, it was a Classic! When I said "It's not an Elegance, no reverse sensors" he said, ah, that year the Elegance didn't have them. :thumbdwn: They are full of it!

Got past that, and they tried to sell me an Estate. i do think they were genuinely embarrassed and offered me a great deal on a 1.9 Elegance Estate, but I said no. Went to work in Leeds. Left early (self employed!) went to Keith's. Had the car I wanted, but £1000 too much. Offered me £500 off, not a penny more.

So, no car yet, and I'm running round in my wife's Civic. Quite like it actually!

Anyway, the search continues.....

Keep going - you will find one. I ended up in Liverpool for our 4x4 which is quite a trek from Sheffield!
