Brakes

Featured Replies

Hello

Just found out i need new brakes and discs all round on my Fabia VRS:thumbdwn:. Garage wanted around £300 to get them done. Is it worth upgrading the discs and could i get them cheaper? Any ideas what make.

Thanks

Depends on how much you want to spend really.

GSF do OEM spec discs and pads but I recon you'd be looking at around the £150 mark just to buy the bits.

Awesome GTi have some upgrade stuff on offer at the mo.

The other option is to use this as a good excuse to go for 312mm on the front . . .

Be careful what you fit. If not OEM, you need to tell your insurance, and any money saved on parts could well be lost, as some insurance companies will hike the premium on brake mods.

I paid £7 extra for my 312's
