Hi all, just contacted my local dealership (38 miles) for a quote, cambelt should be £261 offer price £209 not including waterpump, extra £38-40 if i want it done.

Yet i've phoned local VW (2mls) £330-£350.

Prices seem to differ vastly between dealers, god knows why as you'd expect them all to be the same!

Should have said the first quote was skoda dealer in carlisle.

Doe's this seem to be a good price from a dealer???

Best quote I've had this week (so far) is £285 (including waterpump) from a specialist so I'd say £250 from a dealer sounds pretty good. The one dealer quote I've had so far was £380!

hi mate, just booked mine in, £315 inc water pump and alternator drive belt, local garage, local skoda delaer wanted £325 i believe just for cambelt
