Super Spray - great for tightwads like me!

Featured Replies

Has anyone-else come across a product called Super Spray? Its a spray bottle that connects to a garden hose. I saw it the other day on the clean your car webby and took the plunge as it was under a tenner. It arrived today and i've got to say it is great! It has impressed me so much i just had to tell someone (thats you if your reading this).:D

I've never been able to justify the cost of a pressure washer or a Gilmore gun (what i mean is the missus would kill me if i bought one) but for the money I've been really impressed with it. I used it today for the first time using a mixture of snow foam and maxi suds as a prewash. It didn't generate anything like the amount of suds that a pressure washer would but the suds still stuck to my car for a good few minutes.

Having rinsed it off I then tackled the car using the usual 2 bucket method and found that washing the car was a lot easier. Most of the bugs and muck had come off with the pre-wash.

So all in all if you've always wanted a pressure washer but have a scary wife like mine (love her to bits really) then check it out.

Anyone-else seen this product before?

I guess not mate...

Can't fight with foam gun, but enough for me...

I use one for pre-soaking the car before a wash. Not bad for what it is and I still use a foamer as well.

Having read other posts about the Superspray I noticed that a lot of people recommend that when using it you firmly press your hose (ooeer!:P) into the hozelock attachment. This apparantly has a marked effect on the amount of foam produced. I tried it today and its true; i got better suds by doing this.

I also expermented with the ratio of snowfoam and found that about an inch or so in the bottle and a little squirt of Maxisuds II produces a good effect. As I mentioned when i started this post the Superspray will never be as good as a pressure washer or a Gilmore gun but it is a fraction of the price of either.
