Had my octavia for some laps at vålerbanen racetrack in norway.

It is a 2005 octavia 1.9tdi 105 hatchback. with Koni FSD dampers and Eibach springs.

Lingt remap. 1,5 bar turboboost. (and a leaking EGR valve(will fix this soon and give it a stronger remap. to around 1.7 bar. it is standar 17" pegasus with Maxis Z4 tyres. cheap bad tyres.

but it did supricing well on track.

and well known race/rallydriver kjetil bolnesset tried tha car and gave me some innstructions. and he realy liked the dampers. but it was a little underpowerd.

i drove 160km on the track. and fuel consupsjon was 1.4 liters pr 10km.

i also had a lot off laps inn a suzuki ingis N2 rally car. Realy great funn.

1.5. 125bhp.+ gr.n spec. rally suspention and semi slicks.

did allmost the same number off laps inn both cars.

I allso asked kjetil about rear anti roll bar. and he told me that the car did NOT need that. it would ruin the handling on track. a soft heavy car like the octavia needs to be a little soft in the rear to handle well
