MY 2009 Ocatvia Elegance

Featured Replies

I Have a face lift elegance , it has the front fog lights and an extra bulb , I thought this was for steering fog lights but the dealer tells me that it is only activated if you have the auto lights fitted .

Does anyone else have these lights ? and do they do anything ?

I thought that if a car had a light on show it had to work for MOT .

any help would be grateful

Thanks

Thanks I seen this in the manual , I cannot get them to switch on .

Any Idea's

My facelift Elegance also has the two bulbs in each foglamp, one being the DRL which is not used. DRL is not yet legislation in the UK but I believe all new cars must have them since they will soon become so. Also the on/off capability does not appear in the Maxidot's lights & vision menu, so I imagine the turn indicator settings function for them would not work either. Seems a bit daft having a couple of non functioning bulbs. Hopefully, if necessary, they could be made functional via VAG-COM? Someone on here will no doubt confirm.
