Is it actually possible to retro-fit the Jumbo Box into a vRS that didn't come with it as standard?

I'm not actually bothered about the AUX plug inside it, purely the box itself.

Can I just get one from scrap or brand new and fit it relatively easily?

Of all the possible retrofits this is one I'm not that bothered about it - just wouldn't mind knowing if it's possible.

Hi mate , yes it is a straight forward swap , i didn't bother with aircon or aux as yet , but purely as an armrest it is brill. Got mine of Ebay waited ages for one , but worth the wait.

I've just done this too, and did the same as Fikes75 - no aux or aircon.

Fairly straightforward - PM me your email address and I'll forward a schematic which is all you need to know.

Not sure how Fikes75 found it, but I basically ordered all screws/washers/screw recepticle thingies etc on the schematic from the dealer and used most of them - only came to a couple of quid but you're bound to be missing something.

Got mine off eBay for around £60 in the end.
