Another Roomster Convert

Featured Replies

Hi Folks :)

Well i've done it, traded in my 56 Fabia Vrs for 07 Roomster 2 1.9 Tdi (Metallic Ocean Blue). Never thought in a million years that I would change but practically reigns. Drove back from the dealers in Oxford to Cornwall last week and found the Roomster very comfortable/economical and of course journey time is effectively the same. This is the third Skoda after a 1.9 Tdi Fabia (2000) and the Vrs. Very happy with the Roomster with its space and practicality especially as I now have the internal bike rack - what a boon, no more roof racks.

I want to keep the Roomster standard but think I will fit the RARB as this seems to a "must do" mod as for the Vrs. Awesome GTI - do you fancy a weekend in Cornwall!!!!

Now where's all that camping equipment, bikes, kitchen sink ................

Welcome to the club :)

Indeed welcome! I too have the Roomster 2 1.9tdi in Olive Green-a beggar to find in the Forestry Commission car parks!

Can't make Cornwall, heading up to the North East for some serious coastal paths.

You will find that there is a ktichen sink, all be it a small one, under the front passenger seat.

Enjoy

Welcome aboard :D

Welcome to the fold

Thanks all for the kind welcome into the Roomster fold. Just returned from B&Q with two

6' x 3' trellis panels (for wifey's favourite rose). Wouldn't have got those into the Fabia. As I said, practicality reigns - but its still a nice drive and enjoying the experience.

Cheers, Eddie :)
