Well just got back from JKM and have had a 60,000 service and also the new additions of springs and dampers . Service as I thought was great lots of info from the guys and really helpful. I also got Kate to take some pics of the car being worked on for me that I may add into a project journal soon

Any how the car has now been lowered on Spax 50mm springs and Koni dampers. The look IMHO is great and I'm really happy! The ride on straights is...Bouncy but round bends there is now F-All body roll, its sweet!!! I'm going to give it time and see how she settles but at the mo I'm generally happy (while the novelty lasts ).

Any how here are the latest pics of my ride, she needs a good clean and the new rims that I may have bought off a fellow briskoda member (BBS ummmm)

I think im done on the handleing front for now! Next on list are Tyres for the new rims and a re-map at some point ...so much money... but so much fun!

Makes me want a red vRS now! Id be a bit worried about the bouncy ride however, not sure I could live with that! Make sure its not sitting on the bumpstops, could cause you other problems.

looking good, thats def lower than the koni/eibach setup I had on mine. give it a month to settle nicely then give us an update!

Cheers for all the comments! The front seems to setting in a bit now but still a bit bouncy. I think VRSDanny had the same when his fabia was working thou after driving it tonight I may have too loosen the dampers as it's quite firm! At this rate I'll need an inflatable ring!

The paint on the fogs is the same as the grill just halfords black magic. Ohh and I corrected my spelling

If the pics where close ups, you would notice all the lovely swirls marks and flys all crushed into the front :P

Generally bouncy if they're not the correct poundage for the car.

ie - Not made specifically for the vRS.

And personally, i think the oem wheels on your car, at that ride height, look great.

Looks great - all these good looking lowered VRS's are making my non-lowered one look like it's on stilts!! Definitely looks better lowered.

Thanks Tommytom that will explain the bounce then I know like the oem wheels look also but the BBS ones should look just as good, there 16's so should fit nice. The oem wheels will make good winter/track wheels

Cheers guys it's turned out better than I thought it would, makes the 16's fit better IMHO
