g04 fabia vrs suspension geometry

Featured Replies

has anyone got the correct geometry settings? before i fit the shims to my rear axle to adjust toe & camber i want to make sure its set to the correct settings. i have had the 4 wheel alignment lazer check but want to make sure that the tollerence's they have given me is correct.

this is what is on the printed paper,(measurements in degrees/minutes)=

SKODA:FABIA:RS SPORT SUSPENSION (1GD, G04)

,

LEFT & RIGHT REAR CAMBER EACH SIDE= -1*20' TO -1*40'

LEFT & REAR TOE EACH SIDE= -0*07' TO 0*33'

TOTAL TOE= 0*16' TO 0*36'

THRUST ANGLE= -0*20' TO 0*20'

as my passenger side toe is way out (-1*29) and the max that the shims will correct it to is 0*01' which according to the data on the sheet it will be within its tollerance, but if i make the drivers sid the same (as you want both sides to be the same or as close as) the total toe wil be out of tol!

could someone move this thread to fabia1 thread please, i have put it in the wrong place,

cheers

Mate if it's -1.29 on the rear I wouldn't bother shimming it. I had mine checked the other week: -1.24 and -1.25.

-1.29 is well within the tolerance. Are your tires wearing unevenly?
