RNS 510 Bluetooth Upgrade

Featured Replies

Looking at getting the bluetooth kit for my RNS 510

On ebay the guy says it is plug and play so I assume there is no wire cutting like in Stu's how to, will it require Vag Com coding or work straight out of the box.

I tried asking the guy but his English wasn't the best

I have looked at Stu's site but the installation is not for a RNS 510

The guy is offering the kit plug and play no wire cutting here

I assume the RNS 510 must have provision to install bluetooth without cutting into the loom

Thanks

When I originally had the bluetooth kit installed I had a MFD2 and subsequently changed to a Columbus/RNS 510/MFD3 whatever you wish to call it.

The install is the same for all.:)

Good luck with your choice.

Stu has updated the way he installs these, and takes the power from from fuse board now - however, either way no wires within the cars original loom need cutting!
