MAF Sensor

Featured Replies

As im getting my 40,000 mile service and having cambelt etc done i thought id treat myself to a new MAF sensor as i read that after a while they can result in lowering the MPG. I was quoted a price between 75 and 250 quid from the dealer when i phoned? Is this right? I was expecting about 20 quid in my head?

If this is the case is there a way i can clean it or freshen it up?

Thanks in advance.

If you need a new one Euro Car Parts do them for under £60 exchange, includes the housing as well. They are a doddle to change.

Mines been on my vRS for 87k and i havent seen any drop in mpg, i'd keep the money unless you really notice the mpg dropping.
