Audi Alloy measurements

Featured Replies

I am looking around for a good set of secondhand 18 inch alloys for my Octavia II VRS.

I like 2 of the current Audi designs.

I have a set of almost new Goodyear F1 Asyms from my previous car to go on them.

Would I be right in saying I need a112mm PCD and ET of between 45 - 52 ?

Does anyone know if Audi's with 4WD use different offsets and would a 8.5 - 9 inch wide wheel;

1/ fit within the arch of an Octavia 2?

2/ Be ok to use with 225/40 R18 tyres.

Thanks in advance.

i am currently running audi s4 18inch wheels on my 06 vrs and dont have any clearance probs.you might want to look on a site called rimstyle where they do audi replica 18inch alloys with tyres foy £475.sorry cant help with offsets though.

Yes; you'll need 5 x 112 PCD and yes ET 45 - 55 will be OK.

OE 18" Zeniths are 7.5J and alternative B14s are 8J so you'll be fine with this rim width. 8.5J might work but will be a bit of a stretch for 225/40 18s and I'd suggest 9J will be too wide.

Beware though as a lot of Audi 18" rims are ET35 and these will not fit an Octavia - you'll be scrubbing the rear wheelarches.

Buying 2nd hand OE wheels is quite a good way of getting decent wheels for not a lot of dosh; I got my 7.5J 17" Audi S-Line rims for only £150. Another point to watch is a lot of 2nd hand wheels come complete with tyres but some Audis run 235/40 18s and thus have the wrong size.

Good luck.
