vRS 20,000 mile service

Featured Replies

I've just rung my local dealer to get my vRS booked in for it's 20,000 mile service. Apart from them asking whether it was on annual or long-life servicing (which doesn't fill you with confidence) they said that it was recommended to get the brake fluid changed. Anyone got any views on whether this is necessary at this point? The car is just under two years old and will have almost exactly 20,000 miles on the clock when it goes in.

They've quoted me £147 for the service and £45 for the brake fluid change. It sound pretty reasonable to me?

Yep get Brake Fluid done, Every 2 years (age related, not milage).

How would the dealer know what service you wanted ?

Unlike the Octavia, the Fabia doesn't have long life servicing - they're all fixed intervals.
