In the process of fitting a green CAI and when removing my standard air box I noticed there is a small vacuum style hose going in to the top of the air box.

What does it do and what should I do with it since my standard air box is no longer there?

you fit it onto the new cold air box if there is a nipple on it,

otherwise fit a small breather filter.
