Are you waiting to find out who did the remap? :D

Bugger :( fingers crossed I can get to the bottom of it tommorow.

Where is the ECU on a vRS?

underneath the centre of the windscreen, beneath the plastic "rain scuttle"

Take the wipers off, lift the bonnet, lift off the rear rubber bonnet seal and then carefully prise up the plastic scuttle containing the washer jets. (It lifts out of a groove right at the bottom of the windscreen and is a bugger to manoeuvre round the bonnet hinges)

Then you'll see it, right in the middle. With two large multiplugs going into it:thumbup:

FIXED and FIXED! :)

JKM sorted it, nothing to do with the re-map at all. Only a coincidence that could happen to me! :D

It was all traced back to a bit of crappy coil pack loom. Keith explained it to me but unfortunately I don't even have 10% of the brain power he does. Hence I didn't really understand haha!

Thanks again JKM and thanks everyone for your input!
