What is the correct Tyre pressure for my tyres?

I have a skoda elegance with the standard 17" alloys.

Generally 32 psi is about right, 34 if you are carrying stuff in the rear.

front= 36 psi rear= 32 psi. skoda recomended tyre pressure for 225/45/17 tyres.

The correct pressures are provided on the inside of the fuel filler cap.

I believe these are for 17in:

- Light loads

34psi /2.3 bar front,

30psi/ 2.1 bar rear,

- Haavy loads,

37psi / 2.5 bar front,

44psi / 3.0 bar rear

For 16in, the pressures are even higher:

- Light loads

38psi /2.6 bar front,

35psi/ 2.4 bar rear,

- Haavy loads,

43psi / 2.9 bar front,

50psi / 3.4 bar rear
