Fitted one of these today.......bloody awesome!

Just spent the last 30 mins going sideways around a series of round abouts near my house over and over.....grinning my tits off. Best mod I've done on any of my cars in 15 years.

Sorted the general handling, steering is much more responsive on turn in, some nice controlable oversteer and it feels way more stable overall.

The standard 2.0 elegance suspension actually feels firm and tight now. I was going to change it but actually its fine.

Great stuff!

i hope you were driving it like a king.

Still trying to find the limit, its funny....moving down from my MK2 Octy VRs (stage 2 tunned to 260bhp)...I'm really enjoying the Fabia 2.0 :)

The 2.0 engine, if driven hard goes well and I've fitted a panel filter with a drilled airbox, its going for a Angel remap at the weekend. May throw a 270 cam in there as well for a laugh, only £100 these days.

Plently of power to enjoy the gocart like handling!

You'll be beating Mustangs in no time!

I've still not had my vRS sideways after fitting mine and it's been on for a while now! I'm obviously a chicken lol. I've chucked it in to roundabouts at what I would consider a fair rate and come off the throttle and I can feel the line tighten as the weight shifts but the back definitely doesn't slide!

Blimey that was quick considering it was in a box with me yesterday!!

Glad you are having fun already, enjoy it!!

Just Remember though he does have a 2.0 not a tdi- It makes a differeance weight distribution and all that

This is true, the 2.0i is a far nimbler (more royal?) handler than the 1.9TDi.

Seems very nice overall. I had a '56 reg Ibiza FR 130PD before my octy VRS and the fabia 2.0definately handles better as it is now.

With I'd know about the RARB back then, may not have sold that car!

your not trying hard enough.

Your probably right. I had an unexpected occurence of lift off oversteer 2 weeks after passing my test and I had to swim out of the car at the end of it! I've now been driving 10 years, but that kind of thing stays with you lol.

after fitting the RAAARB to my Ibiza I found it cornered flatter and turn in was a little better but, and this may well be me expecting too much and being a wuss, I didn't find it transformed the car or it's handling.

with the esp switched off and aggressive use of the throttle my brother did get the a*se end out on a big, empty roundabout at something like 20mph though. and that was on quite a nice, warm day on smooth, dry tarmac...

Only time I've ever managed to step the back end out on my vRS was last year at the Nurburgring - my tyres got so hot they would just break away near the end of a lap

HAHA it probably helps that I have ****e tyre on the back.....kwick fit arrowspeed!

I can get the back end out really easy

I fitted mine recently too, and while I wouldn't say it's radically transformed the handling (there's only so much fighting the laws of physics you can do) it was well worth doing IMO :)

Only got it slightly sideways once, on a sweeping bend in Harris last week at 65mph. Accidentally, might I add. And it was so controllable :D

I have been taking it quite easy though, I did a backflip in a 55 plate Fiesta belonging to my boss last year...don't want a repeat of that!

A very worthwhile conversion.
