The generally accepted CO2 emission figure quoted for a post-2001 vRS (and appearing on the V5) appears to be 192g/km..

However it seems that the SMMT CO2 emissions data suggests that cars introduced July 2003 until June 2005 have a figure of 180g/km :confused: (earlier cars show the 192 figure)

Can anyone who has a car that falls between these dates confirm if the figure entered on their V5 is 192 or 180?

Now if this is true, that corresponds to a £40 difference in excise duty .. so I'm curious
