Hi guys got a problem with my car, when you start it up from cold or if its been stood still for awhile it idles at 800 rpm then after a few seconds it rises up to 1000 rpm and stays there until you blip the throttle, it then goes back to idling at 800 rpm, have put it on diagnosis machine and the engine management hasnt logged any fault codes, any ideas?

Throttle position sensor module is a common fault. 20 minute job about £90 for the part IIRC

wheres that fitted on the pedal box?
