Loose at the front end?

Featured Replies

I have a 54 plate octy vrs, which I've had for just over a year. It seems to be fairly loose at the front end on cornering. My mondeo st24 used to feel fine, yet this car doesn't fill me with as much confidence. I was chatting to someone at goodwood the other day, who mentioned fitting a bottom front bar from an Audi s3. Does anyone know what he meant?he mentioned fitting one to his Leon and it cost around 25 quid.

Any ideas??

Yes, its a lower strut brace from an audi S3 bolts to the floor pan very easy to fit will make the front end feel a bit more together/ tighter.

Part no - lower tie bar- 8NO 199 403B you also need these nuts and bolts- riveted cap nut-x2- N 909 147 01 bolts- N 104 679 01

Hope this helps.

If you want to really improve turn in, the fitting of a rear anti roll bar will make the bigest difference.

Cheers chaps, I shall look into those. Everything else is great about the car, just the handling
