ABS ECU location ?

Featured Replies

Can anyone advise where the ABS ECU is located on the car ?

I've been advised it has developed a fault and will need replaced... ESP light on, £1225 to fix

Going to see about having it repaired instead.

Cheers.

Get the car scanned on VAG-COM and posts the faults on here.

I had the car diagnosed at the dealers yesterday.

All I was told was that the ABS unit has logged a fault, tested cabling to and from it, found to be ok. Advised that I need a new ABS ECU.

They didn't say if they tried to clear the fault.

I need to try and locate the unit, so I can get the part number to see if there are any ECU repair companies who can/will do it.

Hi, If the fault is coming up as a brake pressure sensor fault then this is the same as Touaran, Golf V and Leon and indeed the sensor is part of the ABS pump and control unit. Not uncommon so ask SUK for a goodwill contribution.

HTH;)
