oem parts

Featured Replies

were do you buy your standard oem parts from ? ? apart from going to skoda them self with there crazzy prices :eek:

Skoda Prices aren't that crazy mate... what is it your after and how much have they quoted?

Tps

TPS

and Skoda prices are very very cheap !.............i work in parts !

Unless you're in the habit of ignoring VAT, carriage charges or £20 petrol to drive to your nearest TPS, then I'll think you'll find most Skoda parts are reasonably priced. Plus you are guaranteed to get genuine parts, and the correct one for your car.

GFS etc are OK, but some bits are more expensive than the dealer (VW screenwash is 50% more!) and I sometimes question what they offer as "OEM" parts.

Obviously a couple of phone calls can help resolve any dilema. Some Skoda dealers will offer some discount if you ask for it.

i have not been quoted on any parts i just thought that the main dealer prices would be really high as most other dealers are :thumbdwn: what does TPS mean or what is it ??? ps i dont own a skoda yet just interested in how much parts are and the best places to get them from just incase i ever need any parts:thumbup:

In my opinion Skoda are the same as all dealers, If they can take the pi55 they will.

I need a o/s plastic Fabia vrs roof rail (the long plastic strip) the length of the roof and Skoda want £32! which is mental. Breakers yards charge £12 postage due to its length so Ive got my eyes open locally. If I win the lottery I'll buy it from Skoda!!

£32 for a roof strip is F*** ALL !!!

i priced one up at work the other day for a Megane, it was over £100 and then needed painting aswell

Skoda parts are silly cheap, buy a Renault and then complain about Skoda parts prices

ive seen quotes on here for people getting a window reg, supplied and fitted, by a dealer, for £150, not one of ours at work is less than £175+vat for the part alone

a Renault key will cost you around £180, seems most Skoda ones cost about £100

i needed a boot plastic for my car, the part came with all surrounding plastic too, for £9 !

every single part ive needed for my Skoda has surprised me with how cheap it is

German Swedish & French

& Euro Car Parts both sell OE VAG parts and some cheaper pattern parts. Google them.

GSF annoyed me this week. My mate whose fixing my car up rang up for an Inner CV Joint for my vRS and they said there was one there for £29. This seemed way too cheap so I went down to see. Gave them my details again and they said that they don't do the part! This was all within 1/2 an hour!

Edit: Oh and Skoda are fairly cheap for most things failing that get someone with an account with TPS for a bit more discount.

Ive just got a n/s window regulator for the fabia from tps, OE part, 2 year guarantee and £15 cheaper than ive been quoted from GSF. So far they are yet to fail me

if you get the part number order it through seat parts then seem to be 10% cheaper in northern ireland!!!

I've always found Skoda Parts reasonably priced tbh?
