Not bad. Would like to see a Core2Duo in there though, rather than an older Pentium chip. It is possible for the money...

Thats perfect for this purpose, just dont play the latest games on it you'll be fine.

The processor is not that bad, and is a CoreDuo so is the predecessor of the Core2. Nothing wrong with the CoreDuo, and in some cases its faster than the Core2. The thing to keep in mind although not relevent to you, and its the main difference.The CoreDuo CPU is a 32bit CPU and the Core2 is 64bit. Since you will be using 32bit Vista, its a non issue. The laptop I am typing this on is also a CoreDuo.

Worth looking at Novatech site. I use them a lot always had good service.
