Bloody weather!

Featured Replies

The British summer is officially cr@p

Had planned to sort my Dad's 3-Series out today - full detail. Myself and a friend had arranged to team up on it as there's a fair bit of metal - 2x Porter Cable etc etc

But the weather had other ideas - got it foamed and then 2BM'ed down, plus the wheels and arches properly cleaned with APC & Virosol, before the weather took hold and had other ideas about what we'd get done today

Daily rental of an industrial unit would be a really great idea - we both mused that there must be a fair few sitting unused at the moment, current economics and all.

Oh well, will have to re-schedule now, although it's looking like sometime in mid-August before that will happen. Just have to hope the weather's kinder then eh!

Thanks for listening ;)

Cheers,

Steve

One of the reasons we headed for sunnier climes.

At least we're guaranteed at least six months of BBQ weather each year:D

Yeah thanks for that ;)

Don't think we'd have made it down to you in time today somehow! :D

it hasn't rained in Halifax Steve.....

You could have done the Mazda, plus I've just made tea, and the fridge is full.........

I've been trying to rebuild my garden fence this afternoon , after removing the old panels and rotten post yesterday.

I got two out of three new panels in place and secure in between downpours. At one point the rain was so heavy I was contemplating turning shedzilla into an ark and gathering up two of every animal.

Sorry to hear that you didn't manage to finish the 3 Series mate..........:thumbdwn:

I was fighting with the weather yesterday working on a Jaguar X-Type Estate but managed to get it finished, little longer than planned and turned out OK but luckily the owner had half a car port for me to use.........:o

Well I spent most of Sunday in the loft or up the ladders on the roof sorting out a new FM Aerial for the hifi tuner. Managed to get most of it done before the rain started but then when I did have time to do something more interesting we got the rain you had Steve!

This has just reminded me to speak to a freind tonight, he has a unit I'm going to pester him about but I'm concerned its going to have a gravel access so end up with cars covered in mud within seconds of leaving the unit! shall find out about this.

I'm fortunate enough to have a garage to do my detailing in

Hope the weather ok this weekend. Doing my mates Focus. Lucky enough if it does go peer shaped I can use the garage.

not only does it rain to much , its got shedloads of sand in it , plus now the fronts full of cars , we have to park under trees , bloody sap everywhere .
