Picked my 58 plate VRS estate up last week and i am very impressed!

Just a couiple of questions, the car has the stream stereo, which i would like to upgrade to the MFD2 or 3, is the 3 worth the outlay? Also what can you expect to pay for the unit and would a dealer be happy to fit the unit not purchased from them?

Also, i find the stream unit annoying regards to how it plays mp3 cd's, if the files are not in folders it plays all tracks numbers on the disc instead of the whole album, if that makes sense?

Any info on the MFD2/3 would be appreciated!

MFD2 is a bit old school these days. Treat yourself to an MFD3. They're £549 delivered from ebay these days. Excellent unit, great display, great functionality and huge upgrade in sound quality over the Stream.

Yes. It's literally a 10 minute job. In my opinion, you'd be wasting your money to pay a dealer to do it.
