Mp3

Featured Replies

Hi Guys,

Does anyone know where to connect an MP3 player to a facelift '57 plate Superb Elegance.

The Skoda spec claims MP3 compatability but I can't find the connection and Skoda Customer Service can't tell me where it fits either.

Thanks in advance,

Metrology

Does it simply mean that the CD player will play MP3 files from CD? (As opposed to CD audio format tracks on the CD).

The headunit as per the previous post can most likely play MP3 files burnt onto a CD as data. The symphony headunit does not have an aux in, so thats the way to do it. The CD changer will not play MP3 disks, just the one in the HU.

I have put an audio cd into my head unit (MFD 1) before, but to no avail. I put the aux lead into the back, and play my iPod through the headphone port, no track listings etc - but it does me.

Hi Guys,

Thanks for suggestions, if no one has found the MP3 port it seems to suggest that it doesn't exist.

I'd presumed that Skoda claiming MP3 meant a port should be available, after all, quite cheap retrofit radios are fitted with MP3 ports.

Thanks again.
