Featured Replies

hi im thinking of putting a T3 hybrid on my skoda what work will i be getting into im going to be doing myself would you lot beable to give me a list of what i will need to do

thanks

What sort of power levels will it be running?

At a first guess I'd say you'll need a manifold and downpipe to fit the turbo (equal length mani would be best), oil lines, an S3 MAF sensor, S3 injectors and fuel rail (or better), 4 bar fuel pressure regulator, front mount intercooler, plus a custom map to run it all.

If you're going over 320-340bhp then you need to do the engine internals as well (uprated rods and use S3 or aftermarket forged pistons), also you'll need to find an alternative to the standard gearbox at that point as it won't cope.

All this assumes the car has the brakes, clutch and suspension to cope with that power.
