Hello everyone,

Just thought I'd introduce myself to the forum. I've just bought a red Octavia VRS estate, of the petrol variety. It's on a 2006 plate, but only had 800 miles on the clock. It apparently spent 3 years sat under cover at Skoda's HQ.

I've had loads of Golfs and an A4 in the past, so I'm already feeling at home.

So far, the car seems great, and mighty quick. It certainly surprised the baseball cap wearing muppets in their (mum's) Fiesta that tried to overtake me in a dangerous spot the other day!

Only criticism so far is the radio. Reception on FM is rubbish, and even when you do get good reception (usually when stationary) the sound quality is a lot worse than I would expect compared with the CD. Any ideas on this anyone? The engine sounds good though .
