Please can someone tell me how thick the estate roof rails are that run front to back.

Exactly what dimension/s are you after ?

Max height = 24mm

Max width = 36mm

BTW: Their cross section is very similar to a parallelogram

So max height will be less then A-D, and the max width will be more than A-B
