Finally a Skoda owner

Featured Replies

Hi everyone,

This forum has provided me with a lot of useful advice over the last few months and last week we collected our Fabia Vrs.

I bought it to replace my other halfs ageing 106 as we needed something slightly bigger but just as economical. (I wanted something faster smile.gif) I have an Impreza which I've owned for approx 7 years but I don't use it that much now, probably going to be using it even less now:eek:.

So far I'm very impressed, we've done around 1000 miles so far. She seems to average 55 to 60mpg (brim to brim as the on board computer seems very optimistic showing 65 to 70mpg) must say that I get nowhere near this mpg (45 to 50mpg for me as I'm addicted to the torque B_thumb.gif). Oh dear this may be the end of the road for the Impreza, I didn't think an oil burner would be this much fun:confused:.

I would also add that this forum is one of the most informative and friendly ones I have been on:thumbup:
