Massa out for 2009 - future in F1?

Featured Replies

News seems that Massa wont be fit enough to race for 2009 - needing to allow fractures to heal.

Hope he'll be able to come back to F1 next year, but docs are worried about his left eye and loss of speech and some other brain function.

Not sure where he lives, but heard that due to nature of injuries might not be able to fly for months! Where does he live? Italy?

Massa lives in Brazil.

I hope he will be back racing in no time.

His personal trainer/team doc says eye is OK, but hospital docs say damaged.

As the skull is the slowest healing bone in the body according to some article I read on Massa claimed, means a 6month + healing time.

F1 docs wont revalidate his superlicence unless fracture healed and vision within accepable perameters.

Although I dont like his team and dont support him per se, I've always liked Massa.
