Bloody Virgin Cable broadband Caps

Whilst downloading some media the other day I notice the dl speed down from a usual 9.6meg to a paltry 2.3 meg! WTF?

So after some googling it appears that the idiotic bearded one has decided to cap speeds during "peak hours". Most other providers decree peak to be between 6 and 10 but Virgin say 4 til midnight!

And if you download more than 350 mb then the cap stays on for 4 flipping hours.

I've never had a problem wi Telewest or Virgin up til now. I just wish there was another cable provider and I'd be off like a shot!

Iv got vodafone at home, for mine you get line rental 24/7 free land-line calls and unlimited broadband all for £24 a month

And if you download the entire season of 24, then they'll cap you until torrent free for 30 days as they did to a mate.

50 meg to 2.5. Oh how I laughed at the smug git!

No torrents for me. Far too slow. I use newsgroups which don't seem to be affected.....yet!

Looks like I'll have to start a bit earlier now.

Hi. I got a xenon light that last week startet to act up with flickering. So I read here and understood and got confirmed that is the first on a path to have to change the xenon bulbs. My process was the following: Flickering right xeon light Turned off the lights a few days, then one day turned off and they both were dead, no life at all on auto at least. changed both left and right xenon. Surpriced how easy it was. The lights still dead after changed both to philips D3D bulbs. The ifht xen

Hi guys My Octavia 2 FL makes rattling noise on rough asphalt, exposed stones, small cracks. Brakes, system ATE, disc 280mm, pads Febi 16328. When I press brake pedal quiet. When release rattling comes back. I even replaced one rubber sleeve. New Febi sleeve is more loose than orginal ATE Skoda OEM sleeve. I replaced guide pins for brand new ATE. MOT in March nothing in suspension. I know sway bar link clattering noise. I think left side is louder than right or it is noise from left wheel. Any

Hi Everyone, I have a Factory fitted electric Tow bar. Last time I use, it was 5 years ago I believe. I tried to use it Today no chance not releasing. It has a green light always but whenever I pull it out light changes to red blinking and tow bar is not releasing. I used some wd-40 and rust cleaner but still result didn't' change. I also tried to pull out the tow bar with bare hand or hit the mechanism with a wood or hammer(kindly), still no chance. Anyone faced the same issue?

Hi everyone, I’m hoping someone here has come across this exact issue, because after 7 months and multiple visits, neither my dealer nor Škoda’s technical support has been able to identify the cause. Car: Škoda Superb Sportline, 2021, 200kW Problem: When braking, the side sensors intermittently trigger a warning that there is an obstacle very close to the car — even though there is nothing there. History is that since the coilovers were done, the front-left top mount has aways creaked on turning; classic top mount sound of juddering movement. I've tried rotating the spring a little in case that's a difference but I need to do try some more just to make sure I haven't forgotten anything. In the meantime, the front right has developed a creak which is different. It's a heavier creaky rubber feel to it which is triggered on minor movement/weight shift. Going over speedbumps obviously makes
