New to Skoda but not to VAG

Featured Replies

Hi,

Some of you may recognise my username from other forums, past and present. I've had various VAG cars for years now but none have stayed standard for very long, started with an almost new Mk4 Golf (hence the user name)

It didn't stay standard for long and ended up with a remap, suspension, exhaust and lots more mods. The mk4 was my daily driver and I wanted track action so I bought a cheap mk2 golf 16v and turned it into this

This had everything changed or upgraded on it except the engine (the 9a is still sitting in my garage!!)

Then I had a stint with Fords (company cars) but soon got bored and opted out and got this, which is my current daily driver.

All still standard, actually that's not true a few mods are creaping on, cruise for starters, more to come I hope. Passat is a TDI Sport DSG and I'm missing the petrol turbo fun so I bought the Mrs a Octavia vRS, 06 plate, black, lots of options, low miles (18k). We pick it up tomorrow. Let's see what happens to this one!!!
