Sport seat moving

Featured Replies

Hi all,

I picked up the new Fabia sport today; love the car, looks top, drives well.

My only comment really is that the driver seat has a small amount of play in it, so that I can feel it moving very slightly forward and backward during accel/braking. It's not the biggest issue, but it if it isn't common, I might aswell get it seen to. Anyone else got this?

hmm dont think its a common fault. maybe have a look at it yourself before spending time at the dealership. sounds like there could be a nut loose holding the seat to the rails.

When mine was new it did that when adjusting. I am guessing one of the sides didn't clip into the nothches on the rail it slides on properly. Giving it a good shove by sort of.. jumping backwards into it... results in a clunk and both sides seem to lock. Didn't do it after the first few times so I guess it 'wears off'.

mine dont move mate :/

Cheers all,

I've had a bit of a jump and it did seem to sort it out. I'm going to get some pictures up here when I get a minute.

Thanks for the help.

Paul
