We'll miss your toolkit at Colerne.

Weather is supposed to be drizzly, mind you thats what they said last time.

I'll be seeing you all Mon am. Not B&B'ing after all so I be leaving home at 6am again, hopefully getting their about 9 depending on traffic.

Only did half a day in the end but it was jolly good fun as it was "mildly moist" this morning.. Hope for the rest of you that the afternoon was as eventful as the morning but also hope none of you managed to go on any more off-road adventures :D

No further off-road adventures for me thanks :D

The track dried out quite nicely later on

No problems for me either. Best laugh of the day was the Pug 106 1litre, just a standard car but they say they had fun, every time I saw them they were either going sideways or on 2 wheels but no accidents.

Our rallying was limited to the one morning off as well.

Beck approached her first (very wet) lap with a Colin McRae "If in doubt - Flat out" attitude and promptly got caught out by her lack of circuit knowledge and lack of grip from near slick rear tyres!

Although of course as i was passengering it was all my fault :)

Ed you'll kick yourself that you missed a much drier track in the afternoon. The track took on a totally different character when it (and my "slicks") had some grip.

Half a dozen (flying) laps with the Clio Williams chasing me proved a particular highlight.

And as Bernie says the 106 was a spectators favourite; but moment of the day came for me when an Elise moved right out of the hairpin allowing me past, and as i slid back in front of him he pulled back over to the left to get out of my soot  (on a similar not the passenger in the Scirocco wafting a hand in front of his face they ate my soot also made me smile!)

Who says derve's have no place on track. I doubt there was anything else out there that returned 18mpg during a hard 20 minutes on track and then gave 53mpg on the way home

I'm just glad my tracktime didn't go to waste. The mongrel will come back stronger and better than ever before and will be planning on doing plenty of trackwork - but probably not until early 2010.

I'm just glad my tracktime didn't go to waste.

Sure didn't. I even ventured out on the new 17"s  after lunch even though it took the best part of an hour to change the four wheels due to some "fitment" issues.

@Cliff I have some excellent in-car footage of yellow cone destruction on the 80mph sweeping left hander

FPMSL @ the 106 going round the hairpin on the door handles

Barrie AKA The man who shows cones no mercy!

I think at least 3 bought it while i was on-board! in fact i'm sure you knocked one over then out of sympathy clipped it again to stand it back up! :D:rofl:

I was properly concerned it may have continued when we hit roadworks on the journey home! ;)

I shall be looking over the 400 () photos taken and posting a selection later on
