I've just bought a new Octy vRS and want to do a few upgrades. I have no mechanical/electrical knowledge or experience but finding the guides on here great MDF3 will be another project to do. Is it expensive/difficult to get an auto dimming rear view mirror installed or easy enough to DIY it. Thanks

I don't know, but would guess it would be quite tricky as you'd need to get power up to the mirror etc.

Fairly sure there was another thread a few months back asking this and the conclusion was to not bother trying

Would be interested to hear if you manage it though - I had one in my 406 coupe and thought it was great.
