Washed, Waxed and new Badge

Featured Replies

Well Just got back in after spending most of the day washing and waxing my Fabia by Hand! I am now shattered! While I was outside cleaning I decided to re-spray my grille and add my new badge!

Here are a few pics, hope you enjoy

Very tidy good work im loving that black grill!!!!

Looks great

Excellent job - your car looks stunning. Well worth all the effort.

What wax did you use? And what other products?

I'm not usualy a big fan of red but that is stunning. Well done

I did intend polishing and giving the car a full claying but doing everything by hand is real hard work!

The products thou; Poorboys Super Slick & Suds Concentrated Car Wash, Meguires Ultimate detailer, Meguires clay bar, NXT metal polish, bilberry wheel cleaner and Dodo Soft Wax (Banana Armour).

.....and Dodo Soft Wax (Banana Armour).

Banana Armour is a hard wax.

I used a couple of layers of this and then a couple of layers of Orange Crush (a soft wax) on top

My bad :D sorry not sure what the difference is, I just assumed it was soft as I applied it by hand and it was... Soft

That looks fantastic!

Looks great - red cars with black grilles FTW!

Stunning looking motor mate. Love the grill and badge

Really nice mate. I think the rear badge needs doing but the front looks great. :D

I think it looks great that low as well :)

Good work, looks really deep which is suprising with a glaze being used?!

Some subtle tints on the rear windows (light smoke) would really work well now with the black surround, splitter etc :o )

Looks good matey - badge works well with the black grill!

you need a matching one for the back though ;)

That's brillaint. I love it. :D

Shame about the small chip below the badge on the front grill - I presume this is a stone chip?

get rid of the fried egg look indicators and the front will look spot on!

hahaha  I wondered how long it would take for someone to spot that! And no its kinda a bad job on my part :o I peeled the chrome finish off with a Stanley blade and kind of took out a chunk there!

As for the rear not too sure whats going on there would like to de-badge but its a lot of money??? Ill give it time!
