Theres been about 6 NFS games on the 360. If you can find a copy, get NFS:Most Wanted, by far the best of them.

In that case PGR is probably better for me. I always found GT a bit dull but going sideways on ridge racer far more fun Mmmm... Ridge Racer... Coney Beach... Porthcawl Omnibus... jumpers for goalposts...

I bought GH3 on the ps2 a couple of months ago as it was cheap. Good fun but disappointing as I ran out of songs I know/like so soon. FWIW, I'll probably keep the ps2 out for that.

I'm looking for Gears of War 2 (I think I saw this for £17 yesterday), Fallout 3 (£25) and Left for Dead (£35 ), CoD4 (£25). So that's driving and shooting covered... Football though, Fifa or PES? What's the oldest (cheapest) I can get away with? (Still playing Fifa 2005 on ps2)

The multiplayer is fantastic if you're with people you know, in my opinion. As is the case with many games, the online play is spoilt completely by immature idiots :thumbdwn:

I've got PES 6 that i will happily sent to you for a fiver - it's good but i don't think i've played it more than once.

I've also got PGR 3 and 4 you can borrow for a nominal returnable fee

Left 4 Dead is an ok single player but so say it comes into its own with your mates (although i don't know as none of mine have it :()

also if your buying Forza 2 anyway have a search for the Forza 2 / Viva Pinata double pack. Ok so Pinata is kind of a farming simulation and is probably for girls but i find it entertaining! yes i may be :gay:

I found Fallout 3 a bit... boring. There's so much to do, but it seems not driven enough. It's like "well, you could do this... or this... or this..." with a story tagged on at random points. And I'm not the only one to think this! Left for dead is superb, too!

Back on the games theme, the local GAME shop in town has pretty good deals and I buy a lot of second hand stuff, still get the points and then trade them in when ready. Sometimes the trade in deals are pretty good to and saves the hassle of ebay / postage etc.

i always buy cheap games from my local video rental shop.
